Philosopher leading Responsible AI at Microsoft, previously led Responsible AI at Twitch. Researcher in Philosophy, Cognitive Science and AI at Linköping University in Sweden.

My work develops a philosophical account of how science and technology emerge from structures of human cognition. It challenges the divide between scientific practice and humanistic accounts of meaning and life by showing their common origin. AI brings this into focus. AI does not stand apart from human intelligence - it extends it. For that reason, it is not beyond our control, but open to understanding and governance.

At Microsoft, I translate this perspective into practice by building software for safe, secure and responsible AI.
